Well, President Bush gave his farewell address, talking about the various rigors of his presidency. While many had issues with his presidency, many also liked him, and in fact, one news article said that he "was a super great guy."
Like him or love him, he definitely created a long term mark on this country.
I have to say that I was a big supporter of him, and was proud to support him in both elections.
However, with the oncoming President Obama, I support him, pray for him, and wish him the very best of success.
I am so proud to be an American!

Ricardo Montalban Dies. KKKKHHHAAAANNN!
On today, January 13, 2009, Ricardo Montablan, of famed "Star Trek" and "Fantasy Island" died. He was 88 years old. Initially injured in the 50s, he had struggled for many years to work despite his injury, and had, only in recent years, been required to enter a wheelchair. He died of natural causes.
Ricardo is remembered, very fondly by many, as Khan Noonien Singh of Star Trek fame. Having been a world dictator/criminal in the Eugenics Wars of 1996, he, and many of his fellow criminals, fled in a nuclear missle turned spaceship. They had entered into a form of suspened animation, to drift until someone rescued them. Fortunately for the universe, that someone proved to be none other than Captain Kirk of the starship Enterprise.
Khan tried to over the ship after seducing one of female ladies of the Enterprise, and although narrowly failing, succeeded in winning a world to conquer and a lady to go at his side.
15 years later, by complete accident, he was found on the same world that he had been given to conquer, although now, that world had been severely damaged by the explosion of a near planet. Khan escaped, bent on revenge against Captain Kirk. In trying to find Captain Kirk, Khan torturned and killed several people before dying in a great space battle.
Khan, you will be missed!
